Production process of laminated glass

The production process of laminated glass mainly includes the following steps:

First, select a reliable quality, unblemishes of the original glass, such as float glass or lattice glass, and cut according to the required size. Then, the edge of the glass is edged to remove burrs and sharp parts to improve the edge quality of the glass. Then, use a cleaning agent to clean the glass, remove the dust, oil and impurities on the surface, and ensure that the glass surface is clean and tidy.

Next is the film process, the cleaned glass on the work table, lay a layer of PVB(polyvinyl butyrol) film or other suitable intermediate film, and then gently cover the upper glass on the intermediate film, to ensure that the position of the two pieces of glass accurately aligned, no bubbles and debris in the middle.

After that, the prepress is used to prepress the glass after the laminated sheet, and the air between the glass and the intermediate film is discharged, so that the intermediate film and the glass are initially bonded together. After prepressing, the glass is placed in an autoclave for high temperature and high pressure treatment, so that the intermediate film is completely melted and tightly bonded to the glass.

In addition, the quality of the finished laminated glass is strictly tested to ensure that the appearance quality, dimensional accuracy, sandwich thickness, bond strength and optical properties meet the standards. The qualified laminated glass can be packaged and shipped.
